Our story

Beaky's Pet Supplies is a small family-run business providing fresh high-quality pet food.

Which has been in business for over 30 years.

We pride ourselves on providing our customers with pet meat which is the closest thing to what your pet would get if they were in their natural habitat.

Natural and preservative-free.

Steve is now the store owner.

Steve has a trade background and has worked as an electrician in the past. Stepping down from that field and wanting a change, Steve is now the sole owner and operator of Beaky's Pet Supplies.

Steve is also a keen pet owner.

Steve has owned a variety of different dogs in his time and considers himself a 'dog person'. Steve's dogs in the past have included Ned, Whisky, Gina, and Boomer.

All of Steve's dogs lived well into their teens.

Steve gives the full credit of his dogs' long lifespans to the quality of food they were fed.

And that food was.... mainly fresh meat with no preservatives.

So Steve has been a long-term customer who is now the store's owner.

One of the key reasons Steve took over the store is because he recognises that pets are part of the family and deserve to be treated as such, with a good diet.

In 2023, Steve took a break from dog ownership. But has instead got a ferret, whose name is Wick. He also has a bunch of chooks.

Steve lives in the local South Fremantle area with his wife and has two sons.
